New and Returning Series and Movies This Week: October 30 – November 5, 2022

The start of November comes with a number of things to look forward to, particularly for Manifest fans who once thought they would never see the conclusion to this great sci-fi mystery series:

The White Lotus (October 30, HBO Max) – Season 2

A bunch of rich, privileged people vacation at a resort. What cold go wrong?

Titans (November 3, HBO Max) – Season 4

Some of your favorite teenage superheroes – Nightwing, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, Superboy, and more – fight evil in this gritty live action series.

Blockbuster (November 3, Netflix) – Season 1

Randall Park and Melissa Park step back in time, to the age of renting movies on VHS at the now defunct Blockbuster in this new comedy by Vanessa Ramos (co-producer of Superstore and a writer for Brooklyn Nine-Nine).

The Capture (November 2, Peacock) – Season 2

Season two of this British mystery series finds a rising politician caught up in a scandal involving faked video footage. Detective Inspector Rachel Carey is on the case.

The Dragon Prince (November 3, Netflix) – Season 4

Set two years after season three ended, Callum, Ezran, and Rayla race to stop Claudia as she delves deeper into dark magic and seeks to release Aaravos in an attempt to save her father.

Enola Holmes 2 (November 4, Netflix) – Film

Enola Holmes is officially a detective and her first case is to find a missing girl. She will need the help from friends, and her brother Sherlock, to solve the case.

Manifest (November 4, Netflix) – Season 4 Part 1

The Death Date for the passengers on Flight 828 is drawing closer and the Stone family is struggling. Will they solve the mystery of the Callings, reunite their family, and manage to survive?

Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me (November 4, AppleTV+) – Documentary Film

Selena Gomez gets candid about what it was like growing up in the spotlight (she booked her first gig at age 7) and dealing with mental health issues.

There are more returning than new series coming out this week and the two shows that I am most excited for are Manifest and Dragon Prince. Manifest is likely to go big in its final season. Dragon Prince has resolved one of its major storylines, the discord between humans and dragons, but with at least three more seasons to come after this one, there is a lot more story to tell.
