New in June 2022 on Paramount+

While Paramount+ Original Series like Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and The Challenge: All Stars continue their runs this month, a few new series and specials premiere.

Here are the Paramount+ Originals, Exclusives, and Specials coming this month:

June 1

• South Park: The Streaming Wars (Movie) — The third South Park film made for Paramount+, taking on climate change and streaming platforms.

June 8

• Yellowjackets (Season 1) — For those who also have a Showtime subscription, you can begin watching Showtime’s latest hit directly from the Paramount+ app. The series tracks the survivors of a plane crash in 1996, members of a high school soccer team who had in the wilderness for nineteen months before being rescued.

June 12

• Evil (Season 3)  — A forensic investigator, Catholic priest-in-training, and tech expert team up to investigate paranormal incidents.
• The Tony Awards: Act One (Special) — Darren Criss and Julianne Hough present awards and introduce performers in a one hour lead up to the main event, livestreaming on Paramount+.
• The 75th Annual Tony Awards (Special) — Ariana DeBose hosts this annual celebration of Broadway talent, livestreaming on Paramount+ (and airing on CBS).

June 16

• Players (Season 1) — This mockumentary follows a fictional pro “League of Legends” esports team as they seek their first championship, which requires their 17-year old rookie prodigy and their 27-year-old veteran to get over themselves work together.

June 17

• Jerry & Marge Go Large (Movie) — Based on the true story of retiree Jerry Selbee (Bryan Cranston), who uses loophole in the Massachusetts lottery and, with his wife, Marge (Annette Bening), wins millions of dollars to revive their small Michigan town.
• Watergate: High Crimes at the White House (Movie) — A documentary of the scandal that led to U.S. President Richard Nixon’s resignation in 1974.

June 24

• The 49th Daytime Emmy Awards (Special) — The annual award series honoring the best of US daytime television, livestreaming on Paramount+ (and airing on CBS).

June 28

• Secrets of the Oligarch Wives (Season 1) — A docuseries about the wives of Russia’s oligarchs.
