In a Galaxy Not So Far Away Comes a New Star Wars Series: “Skeleton Crew” Starring Jude Law

The newest Star Wars series was announced at the Star Wars Celebration 2022. Expected on Disney+ in 2023, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, will star Jude Law in an undisclosed role. It will be executive produced by Jon Watts, Christopher Ford, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. Jon Watts and Christopher Ford will be co-writing the show.

Like The Mandalorian and the upcoming Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew will be set after the Return of the Jedi. If will follow a group of four kids, around ten-years-old, from a small planet who get lost in the galaxy and seek to return home. Watts noted that, “It stars four kids but it’s not a kids show.” Law’s role in the series has yet to be announced.

Skeleton Crew joins Lucasfilm’s large slate of live-action Star Wars series being produced for Disney+: The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka, and Andor.
