June 2
- Borgen: Power and Glory (Season 1) — This Danish political thriller is a standalone continuation of the series Borgen.
June 3
- The Floor is Lava (Season 2) — Netflix’s reimagining of the popular playground game where contestants jump, climb, and run across various obstacle courses to while avoiding falling in “lava”. There’s something surprisingly addictive and enjoyable about this one.
- Interceptor (Movie) — An action movie about an army captain whose remote missile interceptor station is under threat.
- Mr. Good: Cop or Crook (Season 1) — A Norwegian docuseries about a cop who may be involved in drug-trafficking.
- The Perfect Mother (Season 1) — A French series about a mother whose daughter is involved in a homicide and seeks to prove her innocence.
- Action Pack (Season 2) — An animated children’s series about four superheroes-in-training.
- Surviving Summer (Season 1) — A New York teen is expelled from school and is sent to live with family friends in Australia where she discovers the world of surfing. When Blue Crush was released in 2002, it made me a little bit obsessed with surfing, so as a New Yorker with little opportunity to surf myself, I will vicariously through this series.
June 6
- Bill Burr Presents: Friends Who Kill (Special) — A stand-up showcase curated by Bill Burr. Part of the Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival.
June 7
- That’s My Time with David Letterman – Part 1 (Special) — An interview series with Letterman spotlighting comedians. Part of the Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival.
June 8
- Baby Fever (Season 1) — A Danish romantic comedy-drama series about a fertility doctor who drunkenly inseminates herself with her ex-boyfriend’s sperm.
- Hustle (Movie) — Adam Sandler’s new movie about a basketball scout who discovers a new street baller.
June 9
- Rhythm + Flow Nouvelle Ecole (Season 1) — A French spin-off of Rhythm + Flow, this music competition seeks the next rap superstar.
- Stand-Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration (Special) — An all LGBTQ+ group of stand-up comics. Part of the Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival.
June 10
- A Tribute to Bob Saget (Special) — A celebration of Bob’s life and work with his friends and family. Part of the Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival.
- First Kill (Season 1) — A teen vampire falls in love with a vampire hunter. If you loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer as much as I did, this one is bound to be a hit for you.
- Intimacy (Season 1) — A Spanish drama following four women after a sex tape of a politician is leaked to the public.
- Peaky Blinders (Season 6) — A British series following a gang after the Great War.
June 11
- Amy Schumer’s Parental Advisory (Special) — A stand-up showcase curated by Amy Schumer. Part of the Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival.
June 12
- That’s My Time with David Letterman – Part 2 (Special) — The second part of Letterman’s interview series spotlighting comedians. Part of the Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival.

- Pete Davidson Presents: The Best Friends (Special) — A showcase curated by Pete Davidson. Part of the Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival.

- Jane Fonda & Lily Tomlin: Ladies Night Live (Special) — An all-female roster of comics curated by Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. Part of the Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival.
- Jennifer Lopez: Halftime (Movie) — A documentary on Jennifer Lopez’s life and career, with a focus on her performance at the Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show.
June 15
- God’s Favorite Idiot (Season 1) — A comedy series from Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone, in which an office worker is tapped by God to fight against Satan. McCarthy had me at Gilmore Girls, so I am willing to give just about anything she’s in a try.
- Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend (Season 1) — The Iron Chef cooking competition series is back with chefs challenging five iconic chefs to be named the first “Iron Legend.”
- Maldivas (Season 1) — A Brazilian comedy series about a woman moving into a condo community.
- The Wrath of God (Movie) — An Argentine Spanish-language thriller about a woman who is convinced that the string of mysterious deaths in her family have been orchestrated by a famous novelist she worked for.
June 16
- Love & Anarchy (Season 2) — A Swedish workplace comedy about a married woman and young IT tech whose flirtation leads to them questions their lives.
- Snoop Dogg’s F*cn Around Comedy Special (Special) — A Snoop Dogg stand-up special featuring other legendary Black performers. Part of the Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival.
- Sing, Dance, Act: Kabuki featuring Toma Ikuta — A documentary about actor Toma Ikuta training for his first kabuki theater performance.
- Dead End: Paranormal Park (Season 1) – A new animated kids series about two teens and a pug battling demons at a haunted theme park. Based on the graphic novels series DeadEndia by Steele and Cartoon Hangover’s Too Cool! Cartoons web short Dead End.
- Karma’s World Music Videos (Volume 2) – An animated kids series about aspiring rapper Karma.
June 17
- Spiderhead (Movie) — A new action thriller set in the near-future about two inmates who were experimented on while in prison. Starring Chris Hemsworth and Miles Teller.
- She (Season 2) – A Hindi crime about a timid constable whose undercover assignment helps her realize her potential.
- The Martha Mitchell Effect (Movie) – A documentary profiling the woman who spoke out during Watergate and the Nixon administration’s attempts to silence her.
- The War Next-door (Season 2) – A Spanish-language comedy series in which two matriarchs go to war after they become neighbors.
- You Don’t Know Me (Season 1) – A four-part British series in which a man on trial for murder takes the opportunity to tell his story, which involves the lengths he went to for a woman he loved who got herself in trouble.
June 18
- Spriggan (Season 1) — An anime series about a corporation whose agents keep powerful relics out of dangerous hands.
- Alchemy of Souls (Season 1) — A new weekly k-drama series about the love story of two young magicians.
June 19
- Civil: Ben Crump (Movie) — A documentary on the American civil-rights activist and attorney Benjamin Crump.
June 21
- The Future Of… (Season 1) — A Shawn Levy-produced docuseries about the future of technology and how it will impact our lives.
- Joel Kim Booster: Psychosexual (Special) — A stand-up special featuring comedian Joel Kim Booster.
June 22
- Love & Gelato (Movie) — A romantic movie starring Robin Tunney about a young woman who spends the summer in Italy before college.
- The Umbrella Academy Season 3 — The third season of the popular superhero series about a group of children born on the same day who are raised as siblings to fight crime using their special abilities. In addition to formally introducing the members of Sparrow Academy, this season will introduce Viktor Hargreeves, played by Elliot Page. Page has played Vanya Hargreeves for the show’s first two seasons.
- The Hidden Lives of Pets (Season 1) – Not to be confused with the animated series The Secret Lives of Pets. This Hugh Bonneville narrated British-produced docuseries reveals what household pets do when their owners are away.
June 23
- Best of the Festival (Special)— Highlights of the Netflix is a Joke festival. Part of the Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival.
- Queen (Season 1) – A Polish drama about a drag queen returning home after a decades-long absence to make amends with his daughter.
June 24
- Money Heist: Korea — Joint Economic Area (Season 1) — A Korean remake of Money Heist, the police need to stop a group that takes over a mint in Korea.
- Man Vs Bee — A short comedy series starring Rowan Atkinson as a man who is housesitting and finds himself at war with a bee.
June 28
- Cristela Alonzo: Middle Classy (Special) — A stand-up special featuring Cristela Alonzo.
June 29
- The Upshaws (Season 2) — The second season of a family comedy about a working-class Black family in Indiana.
June 30
- Bastard!! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy (Season 1) — To save the kingdom, an ancient wizard who once plotted to rule the world must be released in this anime series.
