Say “Goodbye Dollface”
Hulu comedy Dollface, created by Jordan Weiss and starring Kat Dennings, has officially been canceled after two seasons.
Released in November 2019, season 1 of Dollface followed Jules (Dennings) after she broke up with her longtime boyfriend. Jules realized that she had ignored and abandoned her female friendships while in the relationship and attempted to reconnect with her female friends. In season 2, having successfully managing to develop her friend group – Stella (Shay Mitchell), Madison (Brenda Song) and Izzy (Esther Povitsky) – season 2 saw Jules and co. struggle to balance life, work, and love with their friendships. Season two premiered in February 2022 and was set in a post-pandemic world.
Season 2 introduced a number of new characters:
- Liv (comedian Lilly Singh), a love interest and business partner for Stella
- Liam (Jayson Blair from Good Trouble), a celebrity and love interest for Izzy
- Ruby (Corinne Foxx from Beat Shazam), the spoiled daughter of a media mogul who befriends Madison
- Fender (Luke Cook from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), as a love interest for Jules
All twenty episodes of Seasons 1 and 2 are available on Hulu.
