All But One of “That 70s Show” Cast Appearing on Netflix’s Spin-off “That 90s Show”

In October 2021, Netflix announced that it was creating a spin-off to the popular series That 70s Show, which aired on Fox from 1998-2006. The show would follow Leia Forman, the daughter of Eric and Donna Forman (played by Topher Grace and Laura Prepon respectively) when she visits her grandparents for the summer in Point Place, Wisconsin. Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will be reprising their roles as Red and Kitty Forman as well as serve as executive producers.

It was recently revealed that most of the original cast from That 70s Show would be making guest appearances on the spin-off. Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and Wilmer Valderrama will all be reprising their roles. Only Danny Masterson, who played Hyde, will not be appearing. He is currently preparing to stand trial on multiple sexual assault allegations.

Original series creators Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner, together with their daughter Lindsey Turner, will write and executive produce the series. That 70’s Show alum Gregg Mettler will alo write and executive produce, as well as serve as showrunner. Additional executive producers include Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner of The Carsey-Werner Company, who executive produced the original show.

Callie Haverda will be playing Leia. Rounding out the kids living in Point Place are Gwen (played by Ashley Aufderheide), Nate, Gwen’s older brother (played by Maxwell Acee Donovan), Jay, Nate’s best friend (played by Mace Coronel), Nikki, Nate’s girlfriend (played by Sam Morelos), and Ozzie (played by Reyn Doi).

Netflix has given That 90s Show a 10-episode order. That 70s Show ran for eight seasons and 200 episodes.
